SEPTEMBER ARTIST OF THE MONTH MARK CHRISTOPHER

The Bremen Library is pleased to welcome Mark W. Christopher as our September Artist of the Month, with his exhibition entitled “Land and Sea Scapes of Maine”. For Christopher, art is as much about the process as the result. Working across bird carving, stone, and oil painting allows him to engage with nature through different textures and perspectives. Each medium offers a unique set of challenges that push him to grow, providing a healing outlet for expression and a way to channel his individualism. He is entirely self-taught, driven by a desire to capture the spirit of the outdoors and spark a shared connection with the viewer. Finding that moment of resonance through his work provides the ultimate, immeasurable satisfaction of the artistic journey.
