Opening Reception For September Artist Valerie Borgal

Valerie’s flower show titled “A Shower of Flowers” will be on display at the Bremen Library from Sept. 6 through Sept.27th . Flowers on Monhegan Island, at the Boothbay Botanical Gardens, Pemaquid Lighthouse and her mom’s property, as well as in her own backyard, have offered an array of beauty that beckon her to paint them. Valerie will have framed and matted art, note cards of her flower paintings, and her poetry book The Wonder of It All – Revealed through Poetry and Art, which includes her artwork complementing each poem, on display for all to enjoy. An opening reception will be on Wednesday, Sept. 10th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Reception is free and open to the public.
