Libraries Bring People Together Even When We Have To Stay Apart

(American Library Association)

The Board and staff of the Bremen Library are so thankful that Maine has seen such a slow spread of COVID-19 and are hopeful that we can avoid the severe levels other states are experiencing. We hope our seasonal patrons are well and look forward to seeing you soon. We continue to monitor local, state and federal recommendations to guide our decisions about services we can offer and about reopening.

With so many people working from home and online, good internet is hard to come by. Our WiFi is available 24/7 in our parking lot. Password: ReadBooks!

Thanks to the Maine State Library, Bremen residents can use Ancestry.com from home at not charge. So if you have relatives that have immigrated to the US, you can go online from your home computer and check out passenger lists of the ships on which they came or census interview sheets that they completed after they arrived. Go to the library‚Äôs web site to get started: Bremen library.org. If you have questions, need to know your library card number or need a library card, email me at bremenmainelibrary@gmail.com.

Please take care.
