The Bremen Library Garden Tour, “Bremen Flowers, Farms and Fish,” will be held on Wednesday, July 17 from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM rain or shine. This fundraiser for the library is a “Garden Tour and More” that includes a silent auction and a number of raffle items.
One of the items offered in the silent auction will be an original garden sculpture designed by Hilary Olson who grew up in Bremen and learned metal work from her father, a professional welder and blacksmith. This is the second year she will be offering an original garden sculpture for the silent auction. Other items offered in the silent auction include a hand turned wooden bowl from Richard Corson of Bremen, a handcrafted piece of pottery from Peter Jones of Camden, and a piece of silver jewelry from Mary Hall of Damariscotta.
Tickets for the garden tour will only be available at the library on the day of the tour. The library is the site of the silent auction and raffle. Items will be displayed beginning Wednesday, July 10, for the July 17 auction. The tour will end at 4:00 PM, but the auction and raffle will not end until 5:00 PM.
